.DS_Store” is an abbreviation for “Desktop Services Store”. These files are created automatically by Apples “Finder” software (which is part of their OS).
They store information about the files within a folder, including display options of folders, such as icon positions and view settings.
It may happen that .DS_Store files inadvertently leak filenames such as database backups or private administration panels.

<h2>Who I am</h2>
</header>
<p>
I'm an Actor, Singer, Multi-instrumentalist, Educator, and Software Developer.
<br><br>
I grew up in New Baltimore, Michigan, and discovered my love for performance early on. After attending university in Grand Rapids, MI—where I met my wife, Virginia—I launched my professional journey in musical theatre. My career has taken me to over 100 theaters across the United States and Canada, allowing me to bring characters to life in a wide range of productions. Most of my adult career has been in Musical Theatre, but I'm currently in the middle of my "Michael Jordan Retirement" (tm Meka King) while my daughters are young.
<br><br>
Some of my favorite roles have been in shows like Rock of Ages, Million Dollar Quartet, Catch Me If You Can, Forever Plaid, Spamalot, and especially Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. These experiences have not only honed my skills as an actor, singer, and dancer, but also given me the chance to connect with countless audiences and fellow performers.
<br><br>
Beyond the stage, I’ve appeared in films and television, including roles in "Hayseed" (as Trooper Gellis), "The Call Boy I Met in Paris," "An Essential Delivery," and TV series like "Charlie & Company" and "The Food That Built America." My journey has been filled with diverse characters, each teaching me something new about the craft and myself.
<br><br>
Today, I live in South Carolina with my wife and two daughters, continuing to balance my passion for acting and music with family life. I’m grateful for every opportunity I’ve had to perform and look forward to the next adventure on stage or screen. After 4 years working at IBM as a Platform Engineer, I'm hanging it up to teach theatre part-time at Montessori School of Anderson.
<br><br>
I'm also an avid Barbershopper, as I was born into the hobby. My gramps sang with the Sounds of Aloha chorus for 60 year as well as various quartets including The Merry Macs, who toured New Zealand in 1973 and helped establish the first barbershop chorus in the country (sponsored by McDonald's Family Restaurants). My parents actually met at a barbershop afterglow. I am currently singing with the Land of the Sky Chorus out of Asheville, NC.
