Longarm Quilting Services

  I provide custom quilting services using a Gammill Ascend longarm system.   Most quilts I do will have a mixture of computerized and free motion quilting.  Prices start at .03 per square inch and may go up depending on the complexity/density/difficulty of the quilting.  You may provide your own batting or I can provide it at cost.   I stock 80/20 blend batting.  There is no extra charge for thread unless it is a type/color that I do not usually stock.   Otherwise I will special order the thread for you, and you may keep the leftover thread.  I stock basic colors in Omni, Glide, and So Fine.

It is a work in progress as I am slowly but surely creating my inventory of Quilts, 
Quilted Wall Hangings, Tote Bags, and Crossbody Bags.   I say slowly because I am 
digitizing my own embroidery designs.  Digitizing is so much fun, but it does take time to get it right.  
Designs must be tested multiple times before being stitched on actual products.

  Some people just have to make things. I am one of those. There is such joy in playing around with color and line and texture.  There are so many things to experiment with:  paper, fabric, thread, paint ...... Many experiments are not worth repeating, but sometimes you create something you like.  Eventually you end up with piles of things..... what to do with them?  I created this site in order to offer some of my better experiments (notecards, quilts, quilted items) for sale.

    I grow flowers.  I take a lot of pictures.  Recently I started playing with some of my photographs using a photo-editing application.  Oh the things you can do!  Start with a decently composed photo and you can change it in numerous ways.  Color?  Dial it up! (to ELEVEN if you want).  Take it away! (black and white).  Change it to another color.  Darken the darks, lighten the lights, just play around!
    I ended up with so many great images.  What will I do with them?  How about notecards?
    And so, I ended up with a collection of cards for sale.
